Data controller
Azimute Inverso, Lda. is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For questions or requests about your personal data, contact us at geral@azimute.pt.
Data we collect
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. You can also select the service you would like to discuss. If you contact us directly by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
We need your name, email address and message to respond to your enquiry. Selecting a service is optional.
How we use your data and our legal basis
We use the details you send us to respond to your enquiry, continue our correspondence and, when requested, prepare to provide a service.
- When you request information or a proposal for our services, we process your data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- For general enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding and managing business correspondence (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- If you engage us to provide a service, we process the data needed to deliver it and meet our legal obligations, including accounting and tax obligations (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- We use technical providers to load fonts, serve the website and keep it secure, as described below. We rely on our legitimate interest in presenting and maintaining a functioning website.
Service providers and data sharing
Web3Forms processes contact form submissions and forwards your enquiry to Azimute’s email inbox. Web3Forms is configured to retain submissions for three months. We use the email copy to communicate with you directly.
We keep the email copy while our conversation is ongoing. If you do not engage our services, we delete it when the conversation ends. If you become a client, the data needed to provide the service becomes part of your client records and may be kept for the periods required by law.
The website loads fonts through Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser contacts Google’s servers and may send technical connection data, including your IP address, so that the fonts can be displayed.
The website is intended for static hosting on Cloudflare Pages. When hosted there, Cloudflare may process technical connection data, such as IP address and request information, to deliver and protect the website. Links to Instagram and Facebook lead to platforms that process data under their own policies.
Technical providers process data under their own terms and privacy documentation. Their processing locations and safeguards for any international transfers should be confirmed with each provider before the website is published.
How long we keep your data
Web3Forms retains contact form data for three months, as configured for this website. Azimute keeps the email copy while our conversation is ongoing and deletes it when the conversation ends if you do not engage our services.
If you engage us to provide a service, we keep only the data needed to deliver it and meet our legal obligations, for the periods required by law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict its processing and, where applicable, receive it in a portable format. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise your rights, email geral@azimute.pt. We may ask for information to verify your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with Portugal’s supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Automated decision-making
We do not use form data to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, providers or data processing practices change. The updated policy and its revision date will be published on this page.
